Ultimate Guide to Meeting Princesses at Disney World

Other than Mickey Mouse the most popular characters at Walt Disney World are princesses. I have met every Disney princess there is at Disney World and have done all of their attractions too! Here is my Ultimate Guide to Meeting Princesses at Disney World.

Important Information Due to COVID-19: Certain parks, hotels, restaurants, and other offerings may be modified or unavailable, limited in capacity, and subject to limited availability or closure, and park admission and offerings are not guaranteed. See Disney World’s Know Before You Go Page for more information.

How to Meet all the Princesses at Walt Disney World

To meet all of the princesses you need to visit Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, and Epcot.

Some of the princesses can be met at Cinderella’s Royal Table or Akershus and it is the best way to see several princesses at once without all the lines. Akershus is the more budget-friendly choice and it is easier to get a reservation for.

Except for the Disney Princesses at Princess Fairytale Hall and Ariel at her Grotto, the princesses stop meeting with guests around 5 o’clock so if princesses are on your must-do list make sure to schedule them earlier in the day rather than later.

Where to Meet Snow White at Disney World

Magic Kingdom

Snow White meets guests next to City Hall most of the time. If Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny are out she is then found across the street in the Theater Gardens area.

Epcot

You will find Snow White in Germany at her Wishing Well. She starts meeting around noon and is there intermittently until 5 o’clock. Without a dining experience, this is my favorite spot to meet her because of the background with her Wishing Well.  There is not a Genie+ option for her meet and greet but there is a Photopass Photographer.

Cinderella’s Royal Table

Snow White is usually at Cinderella’s Royal Table for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Akershus

Snow White can sometimes be seen at Akershus.

Storybook Dining at Artist Point

Snow White is the star of Storybook Dining at Artist Point. Along with Snow White, you can see the Evil Queen, Dopey, and Grumpy.

Where to Meet Aurora at Disney World

Epcot

Aurora is found in the France Pavilion. There is not a Genie+ option for her meet and greet but there is a Photopass Photographer.

Cinderella’s Royal Table

Princess Aurora is usually found at breakfast at Cinderella’s Royal Table.

Akershus

Princess Aurora is usually at Akershus.

How to Meet Cinderella

Magic Kingdom

Cinderella can be found at Princess Fairytale Hall. Without a dining reservation, this is the only way to meet her. You can reserve a Genie+ Lightning Lane ahead of time to meet her.

Cinderella’s Royal Table

Cinderella is at her restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Akershus

Cinderella is usually at Akershus.

1900 Park Faire – Currently Closed

Cinderella is also the star of the 1900 Park Faire lunch and dinner buffet. She is with Prince Charming and the Tremaine’s.

How to Meet Jasmine

Epcot

You can find Princess Jasmine in the Morroco Pavilion. The meet and greet area is really neat and is in the air conditioning. Fastpass+ is not available but there is a Photopass Photographer. She does sign autographs.

Magic Kingdom

Jasmine and Aladdin can be found to the right of the Magic Carpet ride. Genie+ is not available but there is a Photopass Photographer. The meet and greet is located outside. They sign autographs.

How to Meet Pocahontas

Animal Kingdom

Pocahontas can be found on Discovery Island right before the entrance to Dinoland USA. Fastpass+ is not available and her line averages about 45 minutes, longer during peak season. She meets outside so be prepared for a hot wait to see her.

How to Meet Belle

Magic Kingdom

Though not an official meet and greet location, you can get a picture with Belle in her ball gown at the Enchanted Tales with Belle attraction. After the show, Belle invites those who have participated to line up for a picture with her.

Even if you are not in the show you can line up to take a picture with her, this includes adults. There are no autographs and it is just a quick picture, not a whole interaction. A Photopass Photographer will take the picture and you will receive a Photopass card on your way out that will have all the pictures for everyone that took one during your show.

Epcot

Belle can be found in the France Pavillion in her village dress. Most times there is a Photopass Photographer available, but if they are shorthanded this is one of the locations where they make cuts. There is always a character attendant available to take the picture with your camera.

Akershus (currently closed)

Belle is the first princess you meet at Akershus and her meet and greet takes place before the meal with a Photopass Photographer. She meets in her ball gown.

How to Meet Merida

Magic Kingdom

Merida is only found at the Magic Kingdom. She is located just to the right of Cinderella Castle. Fastpass+ is not available. She does sign autographs and there is a Photopass Photographer available.

How to Meet Mulan

Epcot

Mulan can be found in the China Pavilion.  Genie+ is not available. She does sign autographs and there is a Photopass Photographer available.

Akershus

Mulan can sometimes be seen at Akershus, but she is not guaranteed.

How to Meet Ariel

Magic Kingdom

You can find Ariel under the sea at her Grotto. A Photopass Photographer is available, and she does sign autographs. Most of the time the wait is not over 30-40 minutes so you might just want to keep an eye on wait times for a short wait time to see her.

Akershus Royal Banquet Hall

The Little Mermaid can sometimes be found in her princess dress at Akershus. Like Mulan, she is not guaranteed.

How to Meet Rapunzel

Magic Kingdom

Rapunzel is located at Princess Fairytale Hall. Without a dining reservation, this is the only way to meet her. You can reserve a Lightning Lane ahead of time to meet her and unless it is a peak time you can find an FP on the day of.

Check out this super cute Pascal plush that Rapunzel would love to see!

How to Meet Princess Tiana

Magic Kingdom

The only place to meet Princess Tiana is at Princess Fairytale Hall. You can reserve a Fastpass ahead of time to meet her and unless it is a peak time you can find an FP on the day of.

How to Meet Moana

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party

Sadly, Moana is left out of the everyday meet and greets. When her movie first came out she was at Hollywood Studios but then got replaced with another character. I think she would fit right in somewhere in Adventureland but until that happens you can only meet Moana at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party.

How to Meet Elena of Avalor

Magic Kingdom

Unless you watch Disney Junior you may not know Princess Elena. Teen princess Elena Castillo Flores, has saved her magical kingdom of Avalor from an evil sorceress and must now learn to rule as its crowned princess. You can find her at Princess Fairytale Hall. You can reserve a Fastpass ahead of time to meet her and unless it is a peak time you can find an FP on the day of.

How to Meet Princess Anna and Queen Elsa

Epcot

Princess Anna and Queen Elsa can be found in the Norway Pavilion in their Summer haus. I have rarely seen their wait time go over 45 minutes even during peak times. Most of the wait is inside. Fastpass+ is not available. They do sign autographs and there is a Photopass Photographer available.

Disney Princess Character Interaction Tips

  1. Immerse Yourself in their Fairytale. All Disney characters live in their fairytale world so ask them questions about their movie. Some ideas are to ask Rapunzel how she takes care of her hair or where Pascal is hiding out, ask Cinderella if she has lost any shoes lately, or ask Tiana about her recipes. Sometimes the characters will lead the conversation with shy guests, but I always have a neat question in the back of my mind if they don’t.
  2. Disneybound or Dress Up. If you are under the age of 14, the princesses love when you dress you like them. Children can get a whole dress-up experience at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. If you are over the age of 14, you can Disneybound and all the Disney characters usually “get” your bound and play along with you.
  3. Get Autographs. All of the princesses have unique ways that they sign their names. For instance, Ariel makes bubbles with hers while Elsa makes snowflakes.

This is a fabulous and very comprehensive guide to meeting the Disney Princesses! It is a pity that Moana isn't available at any meet and greets.
