Best Thanksgiving Meals at Disney World
Many restaurants offer a varied and special menu for Thanksgiving that will include treasured family favorites like carved turkey, ham, sweet potato casserole, and green bean casserole. You can also enjoy some less traditional options offered at places like Boma or Jiko. The following are my top places to have Thanksgiving dinner at Disney.
Minnie’s Holiday Dine at Hollywood & Vine
Hollywood & Vine is located at Hollywood Studios and is a character dining buffet location. At this Thanksgiving meal, you find Santa Goofy, Minnie & Mickey, Donald, and Daisy all dressed in their holiday best. Traditional Thanksgiving and Christmas foods are found at this meal.
Whispering Canyon Cafe
Whispering Canyon is located at Wilderness Lodge and you can get there easily by boat from the Magic Kingdom. For Thanksgiving, they offer a special all-you-care-to-eat platter served family-style that includes Fresh Field Greens tossed with Apples, Candied Walnuts, Blue Cheese, Dried Cherries, and Creamy Maple Mustard Vinaigrette Dressing; Smoked House Breast of Turkey, Maple Glaze Ham, Oven-roasted Chicken, Traditional Stuffing, Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes, Candied Brown Sugar Sweet Potatoes, Giblet Gravy, Seasonal Vegetable, Cranberry Relish, and Corn Bread; Dessert: Pumpkin Pie.
Trails End
Trails End is located at the Campgrounds at Wilderness Lodge and you can get there easily by boat from the Magic Kingdom. Trails End is a buffet with a focus on meat.
California Grill
California Grill is located at the Contemporary Resort and you can get there by monorail. California Grill offers a special menu for Thanksgiving. The menu includes braised turkey leg and thigh served with cornbread dumplings, butter-whipped potatoes, chestnut-truffle sauteed green beans, gravy, and cranberry sauce.
Liberty Tree Tavern
Liberty Tree Tavern is located in the Magic Kingdom. The Thanksgiving Feast here is actually offered all year long but it’s really good. The Patriot’s Platter is all-you-care-to-eat Roasted Turkey Breast, Pot Roast, Oven-roasted Pork, with Mashed Potatoes, Seasonal Vegetables, Herb Stuffing, and House-made Macaroni and Cheese. This is served family-style at your table.
Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’
Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin‘ is located at Disney Springs. Aside from the usual delicious menu options, Homecomin’ offers up traditional favorites everyone in the family will love. Smoked Turkey Breast, Buttery Mashed Potatoes with Turkey Gravy, Savory Cornbread Stuffing, Green Beans, Sweet, and Sour Cranberry Sauce, Cheddar Drop Biscuits, and Chef Art Smith’s signature pumpkin bread pudding!
Garden Grill
The Garden Grill is located at Epcot. You can enjoy Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Harvest Feast. This character dining experience is served family-style and includes Harvest-inspired Garden Salad, Grilled Beef with Chimichurri, All-Natural Sliced Turkey Breast with turkey gravy, seasonal vegetables, herb, and leek stuffing, creamy mashed potatoes and more.
Hollywood Brown Derby
Hollywood Brown Derby is located in Hollywood Studios.
Chef Mickey’s
Chef Mickey’s is located at the Contemporary Resort and is on the monorail resort.
