Now We’re (All) Cooking with Ratatouille & Dole
Dole and Disney have teamed up to share some great resources to have a great Ratatouille Movie night, or just food fun any day!
Watching Ratatouille always makes me want to get up and get cooking. I don’t need to be Julia Childs. I am me and I can cook. Have some fun including the whole family in planning a superb dinner for movie night thanks to Dole!
Create Your Own Café Menu
Print this Free Menu Template makes it possible for your child to create their own menu. This menu will transform your home kitchen to a Café kitchen.
Create Your Own Recipes
Of course, if you are going to have a Café menu then you also need recipes. Whether you are finding new recipes or having treasured family ones these printable recipe cards are a perfect way to collect them. Dole also included a “critic” card so your little chef can be a critic.
Dress the Part of Chef
Dole has provided a printable Chef’s Hat that your kids can color and decorate. To up the experience you can get a play Little Chef’s Coat or even just have your kids wear an apron or an oversized white buttoned-down shirt.

Set the Table
Dole has shared this printable food-themed placemat that has some fun activities on them for your kids to do. I love this Eiffel Tower Craft that would be a great centerpiece for your Café table.

Ratatouille Movie Night Games
Add more fun to your movie night with these fun, family-friendly games.
Blind Taste Test
One thing Remy loved was experimenting with flavors and trying new foods. Do the same in this game! To play this game, blindfold a player and have the rest of the family challenge them to guess different foods by feeling, smelling, and tasting them. Start with three different foods. Score a point for each correct guess. When the three items have been taste-tested, pass the blindfold to the next player and begin with three new foods. The player who scores the most points wins.
Kitchen Scavenger Hunt
Hide the utensils, ingredients, and other items needed to complete one of the recipes that are being cooked for a meal. Kids must gather (find) all the items in order to perform their cooking tasks. For younger kids, I would make it a “hot” or “cold” game so dinner is not being made at bedtime.
