For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration

One of my favorite shows at at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration. The show is filled with laughs, singing, and lots of fun. Here is everything you need to know about this great show!

Important Information Due to COVID-19: Certain parks, hotels, restaurants, and other offerings may be modified or unavailable, limited in capacity, and subject to limited availability or closure, and park admission and offerings are not guaranteed. See Disney World’s Know Before You Go Page for more information.

For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration

For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration is at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in the Hyperion theater. The Hyperion Theater is located in Echo Lake, to the left of the Chinese Theater. The indoor theater is one of Disney World’s largest and most comfortable, with excellent sight lines from every seat.

How long is the Frozen Sing Along? The show lasts about 30 minutes and there is a show about every hour until the evening. Check the Times Guide or My Disney Experience App for show times.

This attraction is plus-size friendly. Cast Members do ask that you fill in every seat but I just discreetly mention that I am not comfortable doing that. The seats are theater seats and not the largest so if you have bigger hips you might not be comfortable. There are seats on the left side near the front where the arms swings out so you would have more room.

This show is also wheelchair and ECV accessible. Guests using wheelchairs will be seated in a special area in the rear of the theater, but may remain in wheelchair/ECV. Video Captioning, Handheld Captioning and Assistive Listening are all available.

What You Will Love about the Frozen Sing-Along

The Royal Historians of Arendelle

This couple is hilarious! For me it put something new in an attraction I thought I was going to be bored with. They retell the story of Elsa with errors and silly truth.  They also have some jokes just for the adults that will go over the kid’s heads.  Edited to add: I have been to this show several times now and each show is different.

The Singing

Everyone does really sing, well most do. I did spot some party poopers but for the most part, a lot of people sing. The royal historians do a great job of getting everyone involved.

The Scenery

The scenery is really pretty. It is sparkly and white. The costumes are well done as well.

The “Snow”

Who doesn’t like getting snowed on in Florida? The “snow” is really just soap,  but it is the full effect of the songs with the snow!

Overall, I enjoyed the show and go to it often.

Frozen Sing-Along Tips

No Lightning Lane Needed. You really don’t need a Lightning Lane for this show. Plus, having a Lightning Lane does not get you better seats. Everyone is dumped into the same queuing area so seating is pretty much on a  first come, first serve basis.

Catch the Preshow. While you are waiting for the doors to open there is a little show on the screens in front of the doors. It is a funny rendition of Arrendelle 101. Makes me laugh every time I see it.

Do the Frozen Sing-Along in the Afternoon. The hottest part of the day is in the late afternoon hours. This is the perfect time for the show.

Bring the Magic Home. You can buy Frozen: the Sign Along Edition. You may miss the historians but the sing along is the same.

Don’t Skip the Show During the Holiday Season. During the Holiday season Olaf makes an appearance and everyone sings That Time of Year.
