Many people race past Main Street U.S.A. rushing towards the castle or towards their favorite ride. Disney World’s Main Street U.S.A. is a fun, nostalgic piece of our past that offers great dining, entertainment, and tons of shopping!

Disney’s Main Street U.S.A. now is open an hour before the rest of the park opens with the Castle Welcome Show. This hour is a perfect time to get a little bit of shopping in, grab some coffee, and take in sights, smells, and sounds of Main Street U.S.A. Yes, there is a smell to Main Street. Main Street has scent emitters that pump out a delicious vanilla scent to welcome guests to a sweeter world. During Christmas, they switch the scent to peppermint!
City Hall. City Hall hosts Guest relations. Have a question, need DAS accommodations, or want to compliment a Cast Member, this is where you go.
Main Street U.S.A. Entertainment
Main Street Vehicles. Catch a nostalgic ride to Cinderella Castle or Town Square aboard a vintage vehicle. Board a classic horse-drawn car, omnibus, jitney or fire engine and sit back as you are ushered from one end of Main Street, U.S.A. to the other. Along the way, behold a bevy of 2- and 3-story-high, Victorian-themed shops, and restaurants from a time and place long since passed. Vehicles are usually available to ride in the morning and early afternoon.
- Horse-Drawn Street Car, an old-fashioned trolley pulled by a horse
- Jitney, an early automobile without a roof
- Fire Engine, a replica of the very first fire trucks
- Omnibus, a gas-powered, open-air 2-story bus
Flag Retreat. Every day at 5:00 pm the Magic Kingdom has a flag retreat ceremony. It is beautiful and very patriotic! They choose a veteran of the day and have them take part in the ceremony.
Walt Disney World Railroad – Main Street Station. The Main Street Station is the first stop of theWalt Disney World Railroad.
Dapper Dans. The Dapper Dans are a quartet that sings American and Disney songs. They are so good! Last time I got curious about the instrument they played so I just had to google it. According to the Disney website, they are Deagan Organ Chimes. You can read all about the chimes here. They also tell jokes.
Main Street U.S.A. Character Meet & Greets
Mary Poppins. You can also catch Mary Poppins right near Main Street at selected times. Check the times guide or the MDE app for times she will be out. Mary usually meets with guests in the hub grass, She is always a delight to visit. One time I asked her to say Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious backwards. She did it and told me sometimes guests are able to say it backwards as well, so I am going to practice saying it backwards so next time I see her I say it to her.
Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Town Square Theater is where you can visit Mickey and Minnie in their birthday celebration outfits. You can obtain an FP+ for Mickey Mouse. If you go during the parade, wait times are less or there are usually FP’s available for you to make Mickey Mouse your 4th or 5th FP selection.
Tinker Bell. Town Square Theater is also where you can meet Tinker Bell. A Cast Member take you to a room where you need faith, trust, and pixie dust to magically shrink down to the size of a fairy and are welcomed into Tinker Bell’s home, which is filled with a collection of her treasures from the mainland.
Chip & Dale, Pluto, Minnie Mouse. Different characters meet in the Flagpole area during the day. Check the times guide for who and when different characters will be out.
Main Street U.S.A. Dining
Casey’s Corner. Quick service dining location serving hot dogs, fries, soft drinks, and snacks. There is a special hot dog of the month that elevates a regular hot dog with unique toppings. Mobile ordering is available. Limited seating inside. Outdoor seating is available. Some people take their food to the hub grass area and picnic. Outside of Casey’s Corner, there is sometimes a piano player. He is so talented.
Crystal Palace. Crystal Palace is a table service that serves lunch and dinner. Lunch and dinner offers a selection of individually-plated entrees and family-style salads and desserts. Begin with your dining experience with a seasonal salad and homestyle biscuits. Choose your entree from a pre-fixe menu including crispy fried chicken with honey pot drizzle, fire-roasted prime rib of beef, or plant-based crispy-fried cauliflower. Top off the experience with a family-style dessert platter including seasonal fritters, hummingbird cake, and more.
Main Street Bakery (Starbucks). They serve coffee, breakfast sandwiches, gourmet sandwiches, desserts, and cookies.
Plaza Ice Cream Parlor. Ice cream, snacks, and soft drinks. This is where you can pick up the famous mini Kitchen Sink Sundae in a Micky pants souvenir dish.
Plaza Restuarant. Tabler service restaurant serving sandwiches, burgers, fries, salad, yummy desserts, and refillable milkshakes.
Tony’s Town Square Restuarant. Table service restaurant with a Lady & The Tramp theme. They serve pasta, salads, and Italian-themed dishes.
Main Street U.S.A. Shopping

The Chapeau. You can get hats and Mouse ears here. They will monogram your hat for you here. Find the old phone in the shop and pick it up to listen in on the party line.
The Confectionary. Everything sweet to eat (candied apples, cupcakes, cookies, Rice Krispie Treats, Jelly Bellies, etc.) and a small selection of Disney themed kitchen gadgets.
Crystal Arts. Beautiful glass gifts, glass cutting, and glass blowing. Even if you are not wanting to buy anything it is fun to watch the glass blowers at work. There is also a gorgeous glass castle to take in.
Disney Clothiers. Disney fashions for men and women.
Disney & Co. Assorted Disney merchandise.
Emporium. Large gift shop with a kitchen, men’s, women’s, children’s, and toy section. Be sure to check out all the outside window displays featuring favorite Disney characters.
Harmony Barber Shop. A real-life old-time Barbershop where kids and adults alike can get a budget-friendly simple haircut.
Main Street Athletic Club.
The Main Street Cinema.
Main Street Gallery. Disney fine art and other collectibles.
Uptown Jewelers. Pandora jewelry, Alex & Ani bracelets, other Disney jewelry, and Disney accessories.
