One of my favorite Walt Disney World snacks is the Dole Whip! There is a Starbucks hack taking over the internet where you can order a drink that tastes just like the Dole Whip. I make magic at home so this is my version of Starbucks’ Dole Whip Crème Frappuccino. This creamy, frozen tropical drink will have you thinking you are on the Jungle Cruise or hanging out at Disney’s Polynesian village.
How to Order a Dole Whip Crème Frappuccino from Starbucks
If you are looking for the origin of this DIY version of the drink, here is how you order it according to Lauren Godwin on TikTok. You start by asking for a vanilla bean frappuccino. From there, you replace the milk with sweet cream. Finally, you will add a pineapple base. If you take a closer look at the comment section, others are suggesting other variations to request to deepen the flavor.
What You’ll Need to Make a Dole Whip Crème Frappuccino
This recipe is enough to make one Venti-size drink.
Pineapple. You need 1 cup of fresh pineapple. If you do have fresh pineapple, frozen is fine.
1/2 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
2 Tablespoons Simple Syrup. You can make simple syrup at home. Simply combine 1/2 cup sugar with 1/2 cup water in a pot over medium heat. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Let cool and pour into a glass jar and close tightly. This will keep in the fridge for about 3-4 weeks. If you would like you can add a teaspoon of vanilla to this syrup.
3 Cups of Ice.
Whipped Topping. If you have extra heavy whipping cream, whip that until it forms soft peaks. Add sugar to taste.
DIY Dole Whip Crème Frappuccino Recipe
Step 1 – In a food processor, blend pineapple until it reaches a sauce-like consistency. Place one cup of pineapple puree into the blender. Reserve one tablespoon for topping.
Step 2 – Pour in a half a cup of heavy whipping cream, two tablespoons of simple syrup, and three cups of ice. Blend well until thick. If too thick for your personal preference, add a little more heavy cream.
Step 3 – Pour mixture into a cup and top with whipped topping and pineapple puree.

I hope you try this easy and delicious recipe with your family soon. You can easily have the indulgence of a Starbucks treat and the flavors of Disney in your home.
Tips & Tricks
Make the Frappuccino the night before. I recommend freezing them in mason jars in your freezer. Then when it’s time to serve your Dole Whip Crème Frappuccino, take them out of the freezer and put them someplace warm for approximately 20 minutes to defrost and allow time for the drink to soften a little.
Switch out the Heavy Whipping Cream. If you are not a dairy consumer, swap it out for a milk of your choice. The drink may not be as thick, but it will still be tasty. Coconut milk would be a great substitute!
