Best 90s Disney Movies
If you grew up in the 90s, you already know what a fun time it was. Blockbuster video stores, see-through phones, and plaid clothes are just part of the appeal. These throwback movies are just as awesome now as they were when they were made. Disney’s Renaissance period was from 1989 to 1999.
While Disney made a couple of great movies in the 1980s, Disney returned to making critically acclaimed masterpieces again in the 1990s. We get classic princess stories and stories of heroic deeds. This movie made its debut in 1991, and it’s been enchanting viewers ever since. Grab the kids, some popcorn, and snuggle with your favorite blanket for this one.
Hocus Pocus
The 90s wouldn’t have been the same without Hocus Pocus! It was released in 1993 and has become a staple in most households during the Halloween season. The Sanderson Sisters stir up a lot of trouble in Salem.
Don’t worry, even though it centers around Hallows’ Eve; it’s not scary. Adults and kids will love the film. Just a warning, the black candle has to be lit by a virgin, so the kids may be asking questions by the end of it.
Nightmare Before Christmas

The Lion King
1994 was the perfect time to release The Lion King. The soundtrack was awesome, the film was great, and fans everywhere adored it. The Santa Clause

Toy Story
Tim Allen was pretty busy in the 90s! He is the voice of Buzz Lightyear n this 1995 movie. Buzz and Woody have their differences, but can they work it out? Find out what true friendship means and what toys really do when you aren’t in the room.
While there are sequels that have been made, the first Toy Story is where it all started. By the end of the movie, you may even shed a tear, so you can’t say I didn’t warn you.
Pocahontas
The story of Pocahontas comes to life in this 1995 Disney movie. You will see a little bit of everything from romance to songs you can’t help but sing with. Find out if Pocahantas and her love, Captain John Smith, can overcome obstacles and end up together.
A Goofy Movie

A beautiful magic carpet ride through the city of Agrabah. Tag along for a journey full of Genies, Royalty, and fun. This truly heartwarming film was released in 1992 and has been a fan favorite ever since.
The Rescuers Down Under
The animated film, The Rescuers Down Under, was released in 1990. Part of the Disney Renaissance era, this movie has become an instant classic. You can’t help but fall in love with the characters and root for the hero named Cody!
Mulan
Mulan is a young woman who doesn’t have any fear of fighting in the army. She disguises herself as a boy and goes on to become a hero! Follow Mulan and all the fun music in this awesome 1998 movie.
