Don’t skip Epcot during your Disney World vacation. At Epcot, adults and children can explore, play, experience different cultures, and learn all at the same time. Epcot is really spread out, so have a good plan for the day so you are not crisscrossing the park all day. Make these top attractions at Epcot of your park itinerary!

Top Attractions at Epcot
While Epcot is a great place to Drink Around the World and is Disney’s Festival epicenter, there are quite a few fun rides at Epcot. Epcot is also planning on adding a few more in a few years including a Guardians of the Galaxy indoor coaster and a Ratatoullie themed ride.
1. Soarin’ Around the World
While you can walk around the World Showcase in Epcot, in Soarin’ you are invited to fly over the world. Soarin’ Around the World is located in the Land Pavillion. The queue is completely indoors so if you weren’t able to get a Fastpass at least the wait is air-conditioned. In this ride, you sit in a seat that swings slightly. There are three “gliders” each with three rows. The middle glider is best and in my opinion, the front row is best. Once you are buckled in, you are lifted off the ground and there is a screen in front of you. You travel around the world and see several amazing sights like the Great Wall of China and the Eiffel Tower. Several of the scenes have complementary scents that fill the theater.
2. Spaceship Earth
This ride is more iconic than thrilling, taking you inside the huge Spaceship Earth. It is fun to see the progress of technology starting with the invention of the written language. One thing you will remember about this ride are the smells, they are part of the immersive experience of the ride.
3. Test Track
Looking for a fast ride? Test Track has you covered! While you are waiting to go on the ride you get to design your dream car on the computer and see some really cool displays. As a plus-sized princess, I did feel a tiny bit cramped in the seat though. Be sure to get a Fastpass for this ride, if you don’t there is a single rider option that usually has much smaller wait times.
4. Frozen Ever After Ride
Located in Norway in the World Showcase. you will find the Frozen Ever After ride. If you did not pick this ride for your tier 1 Fastpass, then go to it first thing in the morning. While the rest of the World Showcase doesn’t open until 11 am, the Frozen ride opens at park open.
The ride is wonderful. The queue is cute because you walk through Oaken’s trading post if you are in the standby line. The beautiful scenery in the ride makes it worthwhile, but the music is what makes it fun!

5. Mission Space
Want to ride in a spaceship? Mission Space is the ride for you. The ride vehicle seats four in is enclosed and you have a should harness come down over you. If you are claustrophobic, this is not the ride for you. In Mission Space, you have the chance to play a role in a mission to Mars, whether you are the navigator, pilot, commander, or engineer.

The green version is less intense, while the orange version of the ride is a bit more intense and puts more g-force on your body.
6. Turtle Talk with Crush
Turtle Talk with Crush is located in The Seas with Nemo & Friend Pavillion. In Turtle Talk, Crush comes out and shares about life under the sea. Children are encouraged to sit on the floor in the front and ask questions. This show is great for adults and children alike since some adult humor gets thrown that little kids won’t always get. During the show other Finding Nemo and/or Finding Dory characters come out.

7. Journey Into the Imagination with Figment
Figment the Dragon has a long history in Epcot. This ride is not the most exciting, but it is cute and introduces you to Figment. After meeting Figment, you have no choice but to fall in love with him. Though there is a Genie+ option for Figment, I wouldn’t use it. Even during busy times, you can probably get on for under a 30-minute wait in the air conditioning. After the ride, there are a few indoor activities that are really fun for the whole family and you can meet Figment.
8. Living with the Land
Located in the Land Pavillion is the Living with the Land boat ride. This ride takes you on a small tour showing you how Disney World grows a lot of the produce. Look for vegetables that are grown in a Mickey shape. You will also see the fish farm. During the Christmas season, they add lights and other fun festive touches!
9. Gran Fiesta Tour
The Gran Fiesta Tour is located inside the Mexico Pavillion. On this boat ride, you follow the Three Caballeros as they take you through Mexico showing off the beauty of the land and the people. No Fastpass is available and it is really not needed as many people walk right past it not knowing it is there.
10. Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure
In Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure (opening October 1st, 2021) guests will shrink to the size of Chef Remy and race through Gusteau’s restaurant on a wild adventure. Joining this family-friendly experience in the France pavilion will be a delicious new restaurant, La Crêperie de Paris, offering both table- and quick-service options and a menu from celebrity chef Jérôme Bocuse.
