Tinker Bell and the Legend of the NeverBeast is an exceptional movie that is fully developed and should have had a theatrical release in my opinion. This Tinker Bell and the NeverBeast review explores the enchanting characters, heartwarming story, and magical world of Pixie Hollow in Disney’s delightful animated movie!
Tinker Bell and the Legend of the NeverBeast Review
Anything John Lasseter touches becomes gold. Did you know he is the executive producer of the Tinker Bell movies? When Disney first started making Tinkerbell into a franchise, I was kind of worried that they would ruin the classic Peter Pan version of Tinker Bell. While the Tinker Bell movies do remove some of her traits like being self-centered and jealous, they keep her spunky and determined.
Tinker Bell and the Legend of the Neverbeast teaches a great lesson for kids and adults alike. Appearances can be deceiving, and this movie tells that story perfectly. Everyone in Pixie Hollow thought this beast was something to be feared based on looks, a past pieced-apart legend, and a lack of understanding.
Fawn, played by Ginnifer Goodwin, has a great curiosity that makes her want to stretch the limits, and often gets into trouble. Her heart is in the right place, just not her head. Fawn meets this beast and befriends it while the elite Scour Fairies are trying to find it as well, but want to capture it. Though Fawn doesn’t know what the beast is doing, she develops trust with the beast.
The animation in this film is great! During the storm scene, everything is beautiful and illuminated. The NeverBeast’s emotions are clearly seen through the eyes and facial expressions. That is very hard with a character that doesn’t talk.
Though this is a children’s movie, if you have a sensitive child, some of the scenes might be a bit scary. The NeverBeast is a beast after all.

My kids really enjoyed this movie when they saw it on Netflix. :) And I had no idea that John Lasseter was involved with the Tinker Bell movies!
