PizzeRizzo Review | Muppet Themed Dining

PizzeRizzo is a quick-service restaurant inside Hollywood Studios. As you can guess by the name, this cute pizza place is Muppet themed. If you or your kids love pizza then, this is the place to eat inside Hollywood Studios. The menu is simple and the food is pretty decent.

PizzeRizzo Review

The theming is really well done, even down to the garbage cans. Pizzerizzo has lots of seating indoors which is a huge bonus on really hot days. I ate here on the last day of the Great Movie Ride and the park was pretty full and we were able to find a table rather quickly on the ground floor. There is a second floor available and there are some tables outdoors as well.

Some of the second floor seating

I ordered the meat lovers pizza. I wouldn’t really call it a meat lovers pizza because it just has 2 meats on it. The crust is soft and pretty flavorful. the sausage is kind of blah and the pepperoni is good. A lot of Disney quick service meals are enough food for 2 people, this is not that way. You get a cup of salad and a small personal pan. Overall the pizza is decent though and I would eat here again if I were in Hollywood Studios and did not want to leave the park to go to Blaze.

My husband ordered the meatball sub and was really disappointed. The same meatball mixture that was on my pizza must have been on the meatball sub because he said the sub had no flavor. He also said there is so much bread and not as much meat.

Final Thoughts

Overall, this place is not one of my favorites because the flavors are blah. There are better places to eat at Hollywood Studios like Rosie’s All-American Cafe or Woody’s Lunch Box. Pizzerizzo’s does take the Disney dining plan and is located near the Muppet Courtyard.

The menu looks really similar to Pizza Planet. I always wanted to love it, but the food never quite lived up to my expectations. Thanks for your honest review!

What a coincidence, my family ate there on the last day of The Great Movie Ride also. I really like the antipasto salad that they have but my husband really disliked the pizza. He said the same thing - too much bread, not enough toppings. My kids love it but they'll eat any kind of pizza.

That is cool that we were in the same place, same day. I had lunch there during the rainy time. Yes, definitely a place kids will like since pizza is pizza to most.
