Are you ready to have a great time immersing yourself in the lives of your favorite Disney characters? You can have some amazing experiences “playing” with the characters at the Magic Kingdom. If you just approach a character with just your Autograph Book and a simple picture pose you are missing out on so much fun. Here are my top Must Do Character Meet & Greets at The Magic Kingdom.

Must Do Character Meet & Greets at The Magic Kingdom
Most of these characters are only found at the Magic Kingdom or I think they have the best meeting place here.
The Tremaine Sisters
The Tremaine’s hang out around Cinderella’s Carousel, they usually ride it before going over to meet guests. This would have to be my favorite character meet and greet. I try to visit them every time I visit the Magic Kingdom. Every interaction will be different. They are hilarious! Ask them questions about Cinderella, finding a boyfriend, the prince, and more. Ask them to sing for you.

Princess Elena of Avalor and Cinderella
Princess Elena and Cinderella both meet in Princess Fairytale Hall. Both princesses are in the same room and you meet one then the other. Cinderella is my favorite Disney Princess and I love meeting her and asking her about her mice friends or if she has lost any shoes recently.
Princess Elena of Avalor is a pretty new addition and she is a Disney Junior princess. While I do not know her story since I don’t watch much Disney Junior, I absolutely love her dress! Princess Elena was welcomed to the Magic Kingdom by Cinderella. She speaks Spanish, so be sure to greet her by saying Hola!

Peter Pan
Peter Pan loves to talk. He is a hoot. I love the things that he says. Ask him about Hook, Tinkerbell, and Wendy. Ask him how to get to Neverland. Peter Pan does meet and greets on the side of the Peter Pan’s Flight building. Most of the waiting area is shaded. Ask a Cast Member when he is scheduled to appear or check the My Disney Experience App.

Other than his scheduled times out, recently I have seen him just playing around. During this time he does not usually stop for guest photos and does not sign autographs.

- Does He Sign Autographs? Yes
Gaston
Gaston meets people in front of his tavern. Challenge him physically or tell him you are better than he is.

Rapunzel and Tiana
Rapunzel and Tiana meet guests at Princess Fairytale Hall, they are in the same room but you will take pictures of them individually. I would recommend getting a Fastpass for meeting these 2 princesses if they are on your must-see list. You can also go during fireworks for a lower wait time. Some ideas to spark a conversation with Rapunzel are to ask her where Pascal is, how she takes care of her hair, and mentioning Flynn. If you are a little boy or full grown guy, show her a smolder. She just loves that. My husband’s smolder was broken that day though, LOL. Tiana such a sweet princess to interact with, ask her about her beignets!

Mirabel
Mirabel has her own spot, and I have learned that if you want to visit with her, get there early. No Lightning Lane is available, and the line gets long.

- Does She Sign Autographs? Yes
Ariel
Ariel has a dedicated spot at her grotto. You can get a Genie+ for meeting Ariel. You can give her a dinglehopper, ask her about thingamabobs, or warn her about Ursula. On my next visit with her, my plan is to ask her how Melody is doing.

- Location: Fantasyland, Ariel’s Grotto

- Does She Sign Autographs? Yes
Mickey Mouse
Meeting Magician Mickey Mouse at Town Square Theater in Magic Kingdom is a truly enchanting experience! Dressed in his classic magician’s outfit, complete with a cape (Don’t tell Enda Mode), Mickey greets guests in a charming backstage setting filled with magical props and whimsical details. The intimate meet-and-greet allows for plenty of interaction, hugs, and photo opportunities, making it a must-do for Disney fans of all ages. Whether you’re visiting for the first time or a lifelong Disney lover, this magical encounter is sure to leave you with unforgettable memories!
