Marvel Movie Marathon
I found this list from an article on Digg. The article explains why you need to watch them in this order and also adds in some of the Marvel TV shows. I don’t think the TV shows are required to understand it all. I have seen several seasons of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. but stopped watching after I felt the show was getting a little stretched from the original storyline.
I am a newish Marvel fan, I started watching with Civil War. Since I have started from the beginning, so many things make sense. The Marvel universe is like the Pixar theory, everything kind of connects and flows.
Most of these movies are found on Disney+.

Iron Man (2008) In Iron Man we meet Tony Stark and find out how necessity kind of forced his hand into becoming Iron Man. I really liked this movie and like Tony Stark’s change, from a superhero in a suit to a superhero character wise while not in the suit.

Iron Man 2 (2010) This movie continues the adventures of Iron Man and Tony Stark has to clean up a mess his father left him. A good movie in my opinion, but not as good as the first one.

The Incredible Hulk (2008) The Incredible Hulk is a great love story and I really liked it. According to my husband, who has been a Marvel fan longer, this is not a well-liked film by Marvel fans.

Thor (2011) Uhmm. Can we just say tasty? Chris Hemsworth is super sexy Thor. In this movie, we are introduced to him and see the trials he had to overcome to inherit the throne of Asgard. We also meet Loki, his brother.

Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) In this movie we meet Captain America. We learn how he was made into Captain America and about his adventures battling Hydra in the war. You can learn more about Hydra by watching Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Marvel’s The Avengers (2012) Iron Man, The Hulk, Captain America, the Black Widow, Hawkeye, and Thor get together to fight a supervillain that Loki has ties with. The epic fight scene at the end is amazing and I would say that it is my favorite part of the movie.
Iron Man 3 (2013) This would be my least favorite of the Iron Man movies. Basically when Tony Stark was young and a jerk he made a couple enemies.

Thor: The Dark World (2013) This is my least favorite Thor movie. It is quite dark, it seems to be missing an Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. element. Where was Nick Fury? I know Coulson is in Tahiti. The fighting is not that impressive. Though I do like a good love story, it seemed like it was almost the focus of the movie even more so than in The Incredible Hulk.

Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017)
Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) In this movie, Captain America’s best friend, Bucky, gets brainwashed by Hydra and turns into their super soldier. Watching Captain America fight his best friend was hard at times but good always overcomes evil.
Avengers: Age of Ultron (2014)

Ant-Man (2015) Forced out of his own company by former protégé Darren Cross, Dr. Hank Pym recruits the talents of Scott Lang, a master thief just released from prison. Lang becomes Ant-Man, trained by Pym and armed with a suit that allows him to shrink in size, possess superhuman strength, and control an army of ants. The miniature hero must use his new skills to prevent Cross, also known as Yellowjacket, from perfecting the same technology and using it as a weapon for evil.

Doctor Strange (2016)

Captain America: Civil War (2016)

Black Panther (2018) The Black Panther was introduced in Captain America: Civil War. The Black Panther movie shares how he became the Black Panther and how his rule of Wakanda was almost taken from him because of his father’s wrongdoings.
Thor: Ragnarok (2017)
Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017)
In “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” young Peter Parker balances his life as a high school student with his secret identity as Spider-Man. After his thrilling experience with the Avengers, Peter is eager to prove himself as a hero. He faces the challenges of teenage life while contending with the new villain, the Vulture, who threatens New York City with dangerous technology. Guided by his mentor, Tony Stark, Peter learns the true meaning of heroism, realizing that it’s not the suit that makes the hero, but the courage and responsibility within.

Avengers Infinity War (2018) Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk and the rest of the Avengers unite to battle their most powerful enemy yet — the evil Thanos. On a mission to collect all six Infinity Stones, Thanos plans to use the artifacts to inflict his twisted will on reality. He wants to eliminate half the World’s population so the other half doesn’t run out of food and supplies. Excellent movie!!!
Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018)

Captain Marvel (2019) Captain Marvel is a must-see movie before End Game. At the end of Infinity War, Fury starts sending an old-school pager message and she is the one he is sending it too. This is such an amazing movie and is one of my favorites so far!
Avengers: End Game (2019) Adrift in space with no food or water, Tony Stark sends a message to Pepper Potts as his oxygen supply starts to dwindle. Meanwhile, the remaining Avengers — Thor, Black Widow, Captain America and Bruce Banner — must figure out a way to bring back their vanquished allies for an epic showdown with Thanos — the evil demigod who wiped out half of the Universe to save the other half.
Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019) – Spider-Man Far From Home is a bridge movie that bridges Phase 1 into Marvel Phase 2 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This movie is really good as you get to witness the character growth of Peter Parker.
Which Marvel Movie is your favorite? Let me know in the comments below! I have successfully watched all the movies and Infinity War is definitely the best one. It was rather traumatic though. You will need comfort food and tissues.

After Thanos snapped away half of all life, leaving the universe in total chaos, the Avengers must try to make things right. Five years pass and a slim chance emerges for them to undo it all, but before that can happen, Captain America and Tony Stark need to make peace and reunite the Avengers one final time. Once Marvel became hugely successful with its films, it began creating more Marvel content for the small screen. Its Marvel Television shows take place in the same universe as the films and usually focus on the fallout caused by the films. They're not necessary to watch, but if you're like us and trying to consume every last drop of Marvel before Endgame, then check them out.
