The Easter Egg Display at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is available to view the few weeks surrounding Easter. The eggs are the first thing you see and SMELL as you come into the lobby. They are gorgeous!

Culinary Cast Members Create Beautiful Easter Displays

For over two decades, the culinary cast members have been creating these chocolate egg-shaped masterpieces, which display their creative talents and meticulous attention to detail with each and every creation. 

From beloved Disney characters and movies to attractions and more, Disney cast created sketches, gathered materials, and helped each other plan for weeks before the display was unveiled. Each cast member developed their own ways of deliciously depicting some of our favorite Disney stories. 

The pastry team at the Grand Floridian hand paints the eggs which are 16-20 inches tall, with tinted cocoa butter. This is a definite must-see if you are around Disney during Easter.

Tips for Enjoying the Easter Eggs at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort

You Do Not Need to Be a Resort Guest. Disney World has an open lobby philosophy when it comes to its resorts. They want you to come and see their resorts, dine, and shop. While you do not need to be a resort guest, you can not usually park in their parking lot as that is reserved for guests and those with dining reservations.

Park at the Ticket & Transportation Center or Disney Springs. If you are wanting to just see the eggs park at the Ticket & Transportation Center or at Disney Springs. From Disney Springs you would have to catch the Grand Floridian bus. From the TTC you would need to catch the resort monorail, it will be your 2nd stop.

Budget Money for a Snack. While enjoying the beautiful eggs is a complimentary experience, the wonderful smells will have you wanting a small treat. Disney has a pop-up sweet shop filled with holiday goodies.

Resort Hop to See More Eggs.  Hop on over to Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resort lobbies to check out their cast Easter egg displays. The Contemporary resort also has some as well on the 4th floor.
