Best Snacks at Disney’s Magic Kingdom

One of the best things about Disney World is the food. Many theme parks in the USA focus on chicken nuggets, pizza, and cheeseburgers. While you will find those at Disney World, you will also find a huge variety of snacks and goodies that are unique to Disney World. I want to share with you the best snacks at Disney’s Magic Kingdom.

Best Snacks at Disney’s Magic Kingdom

Some of these snacks are classic Disney World food options and can’t be missed. Other’s are just snacks that I think are just unique and yummy. While these are numbered they are in no particular order.

Disney World has embraced our love for Disney Food and has even started a whole line of Disney apparel including ears so that we can share our love of Disney Food with others. Check out the collection on the ShopDisney website

The Famous Pineapple Dole Whip

Located in Adventureland is Aloha Isle, the place to get your hands on a Dole Whip. The Dole Whip is a pineapple flavored soft serve. It can be enjoyed by itself, in a float with Dole Pineapple Juice, swirled with vanilla soft serve, or on a pineapple upside-down cake. Either way, you order it, you will love it.

  • Location: Aloha Isle, Adventureland
  • Price (as of February 2019): $4.99
  • Disney Dining Snack Credit Eligible?: Yes
  • Mobile Ordering Available: Yes

Mickey Pretzel

There are quite a few variations of pretzels at Disney World. The most wonderful thing about the Mickey Pretzel is the shape. You have got to love Mickey-shaped food. The Mickey Pretzel comes with the famous “plastic” cheese sauce. You can find the same cheese sauce in smaller cups at your local Dollar Tree for when you make yours at home.

  • Location: several locations around Disney’s Magic Kingdom
  • Price (as of January 2021): $6.99, served with cheese sauce
  • Disney Dining Snack Credit Eligible?: yes
  • Mobile Ordering Available: no

Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar

When it comes to frozen treats, Disney World has a lot to offer. Just like the pretzels, the draw to these treats is the Mickey shape. The bar is tasty too. At the cart, you can choose the Ice Cream Bar or the Ice Cream Sandwich. I tend to pick the sandwich more than the bar.

Tip: Grab a drink lid to put the stick in so the lid catches the drips. You might also want to grab extra napkins even for the grownups as these can be messy.

  • Location: several locations around Disney’s Magic Kingdom
  • Price (as of February 2019): $5.75
  • Disney Dining Snack Credit Eligible?: Yes
  • Mobile Ordering Available: No
  • DIY Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar Recipe, these are also now available at many local grocery stores to celebrate Mickey’s 90th Birthday!

Cinnamon Roll from Gaston’s

This is one of the best breakfast pastries at Walt Disney World. So warm, so soft, and so gooey! Gaston’s Cinnamon Roll is huge just like his ego.

Tip: You can request extra icing. I thought it was sweet enough, but you may have a bigger sweet tooth than me.

  • Location: Gaston’s Tavern, Fantasyland
  • Price (as of January 2021): $5.99
  • Disney Dining Snack Credit Eligible?: Yes
  • Mobile Ordering Available: No

Churro

  • Location: several locations around Disney’s Magic Kingdom
  • Price (as of January 2021): $5.99, served with chocolate dipping sauce

Chesire Cat Tail

The Cheshire Cat Tail has warm, flaky croissant layers with a chocolate chip filling. It is topped with purple and pink icing to remind you of the Cheshire Cat.

  • Location: Cheshire Cat Cafe, Fantasyland
  • Price (as of February 2019): $5.49
  • Disney Dining Snack Credit Eligible?: Yes
  • Mobile Ordering Available: No

Grey Stuff Cupcake

The Grey Stuff Cupcake is now available at Gaston’s Tavern. The grey stuff is a creamy, chocolate cream made from chocolate cream cookies (Oreo type cookies). This is a great way to try the grey stuff without dining at Be Our Guest.

  • Location: Gaston’s Tavern, Fantasyland
  • Price (as of April 2021): $5.49
  • Disney Dining Snack Credit Eligible?: Yes
  • Mobile Ordering Available: No

Spring Rolls From the Adventureland Spring Roll Cart

Right now there are 2 flavors of Spring Rolls, Buffalo Chicken, and Cheeseburger. Disney World likes to switch out the flavors occasionally so different varieties may be available when you are there. I really loved the Buffalo Chicken one and thought the Cheeseburger one was ok. I had one of each, you are able to order any combination.

  • Location: Adventureland Spring Roll Cart, just outside of the Jungle Cruise across from the Tiki Room
  • Price (as of February 2019): 2 Eggrolls for $7.50
  • Disney Dining Snack Credit Eligible?: No
  • Mobile Ordering Available: No

Looking forward to dole whip and a Mickey bar

Oh my goodness! These all sound so good - I wish we had known about this a couple weeks ago when we were there. I LOVE your tip about the drink lid under a Mickey Bar! We made such a mess with them!

My favorite Disney snack ever is not on the list! The Citrus Swirl - I like it so much better than dole whip.
