Did you know a lot of people have not seen the movie, Bambi? It is hard to believe many people, I just don’t mean children, have never watched the beautiful story of Bambi. Bambi is such a beautifully animated Disney classic. The movie has been locked away in the Disney Vault which means new copies are not being made available to purchase. Disney just released Bambi out of the Disney vault. Introduce your kids to Disney’s classic Bambi with these cute Bambi printable activity pages!
“Bambi,” which celebrates its 75th anniversary this year, joins the Collection on Digital HD and Disney Movies Anywhere on May 23, and on Blu-ray™, DVD and On-Demand on June 6. The Collection release includes a variety of new bonus material, including recordings of Walt Disney discussing the challenges and triumphs during the production of “Bambi;” deleted scenes and characters; stories and effects that “Bambi” had on the Studio, other films and artists; and much, much more. Additionally, the Digital HD release includes an exclusive, heartfelt feature on the incredible artist, Tyrus Wong, who inspired the film’s soft watercolor backgrounds and beautiful palette.
Bambi Printable Activity Pages
Learn To Draw Pages – Learn to draw both Bambi and Thumper. While regular pencils and paper can be used for this activity, I prefer using sketchbook paper and drawing pencils. You can also use the Sketch App on the iPad.
Make Your Own Garden – This activity shows your little one how to start a seedling garden with tomato or basil seeds in an egg carton. You will need a cardboard egg carton, seeds, a water sprayer or can, a small shovel, and potting soil.
There is also a printable to make cute garden markers. To make the garden markers you will need popsicle sticks, the printable, scissors, tape, and markers.
Outdoor Fun Activities – The last 2 activities in this packet are fun things to do outside in the backyard and two tasty recipes inspired by nature. The Backyard campout has ideas for a day outside and how to set it up. The printable includes some game activities and a checklist of things to have on hand. While doing the whole set up would be awesome I think just picking someone of the games and having a game night outside unplugged is also a great idea.
The 2 snack ideas are a S’more Trail Mix and a P-Bana Rollups. Both are hits with little ones.
- Backyard Campout Activity
- Trailside Treats (feel free to swap out the peanut butter for whatever nut butter you prefer)
Have you seen Bambi? It is one of my favorite movies, even though it is a sad one.
