1900 Park Fare Breakfast at Disney’s Grand Floridian

If you’re looking for a magical start to your Disney day,1900 Park Fare Breakfast is a must! Located in the elegant Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, this character dining experience transports guests into a world of wishes, featuring a star-studded lineup including Mirabel from Encanto, Princess Tiana, Aladdin, and my favorite, Cinderella. Let’s dive into the details, from getting there to how the “wish makers” theme adds an extra sprinkle of magic to your morning.

Getting to 1900 Park Fare

Nestled in the Grand Floridian Resort, getting to 1900 Park Fare is part of the adventure! If you’re staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, hop on the complimentary Disney transportation to the Magic Kingdom. From Magic Kingdom, the Grand Floridian is just a monorail ride away. Simply take the resort monorail line from the Magic Kingdom, and you’ll be there in minutes.

If you’re driving, valet and self-parking are available at the Grand Floridian Resort.

The Wish Makers Theme: Dreams Come to Life

The “Wish Makers” theme is woven into the experience at 1900 Park Fare. Mirabel, Tiana, Aladdin, and Cinderella each bring a unique perspective on wishes, dreams, and believing in yourself.

When you arrive at your table, your server will bring everyone Wish cards and pencils. It’s important that you and your kids write down your wishes on the cards. The cards also make a souvenir, on the back the characters signatures are printed on them. They still sign autographs though if you brought a book or another creative object to sign.

Shortly after all of the characters have visited everyone, the Wish Maker experience begins. Jiminy Cricket leads this ceremony and leads everyone to wish their wish while the characters walk around encouraging everyone. It is a very special ceremony!

1900 Park Fare Breakfast Highlights

The 1900 Park Fare breakfast buffet is filled with traditional breakfast favorites and unique offerings that cater to all ages and tastes. Here’s a peek at some of my favorites on the menu:

  • Mickey Waffles: You’ll find fluffy Mickey waffles on the kid’s portion of the buffet. These are a favorite with both kids and adults.
  • Made-to-Order Omelets: Customize your omelet with a variety of toppings for a personalized breakfast treat.
  • Eggs Benedict: Eggs Benedict is usually not a buffet offering that you would think of but they are fresh and taste amazing.
  • Pastries and Breads: Enjoy an array of fresh-baked muffins, croissants, cinnamon rolls, and more.
  • Seasonal Fruit & Yogurt: For a lighter option, you can dig into fresh fruit, parfaits, and yogurt topped with granola and honey.
  • Bread Pudding with Crème Anglaise : This is my favorite option on the buffet. The bread pudding is light and fluffy with a touch of sweetness. Then there is a decadent cream sauce to drizzle on top. It is so good!
  • Croissant Breakfast Pizza: Like the Mickey Waffles this is technically on the “kids buffet” so you have to bend a little to grab a piece. The cruse is a soft croissant topped with eggs, bacon, and cheese.
  • Grand Floridian’s Famous Strawberry Soup: The famous strawberry soup at 1900 Park Fare is a fan-favorite dish that perfectly blends sweet and creamy flavors. Served chilled, this refreshing treat tastes like a delightful mix of fresh strawberries, heavy cream, and sour cream, making it a must-try for breakfast

From savory to sweet, there’s something for everyone, and the breakfast atmosphere is perfect for families looking to fuel up for a big day in the parks.

Tips for Making the Most of Your 1900 Park Fare Breakfast Experience

  1. Reserve Early: 1900 Park Fare is a popular spot, and reservations fill up fast! Aim to book as early as possible for the best availability, especially if you want a table during prime breakfast hours. If you are a client of mine, I will take care of this for you.
  2. Bring a Pen/Marker. While the cards are beautiful, they hand you a short pencil to write on it. The lamination of the card makes it difficult to write on. Since I usually carry around sharpies for character autographs, I just used that.
  3. Bring Your Camera: Have your camera or smartphone ready to capture those magical moments with each character! Photopass is not available during this meal.
  4. Timing is Everything: If you have plans to hit the parks afterward, choose an early breakfast slot. Arriving as soon as 1900 Park Fare opens lets you enjoy a leisurely breakfast without rushing.
  5. Plan for Time to Explore: The Grand Floridian is a beautiful resort, so take some time to explore after breakfast! The garden areas, shops, and lobby are perfect for photos. There is usually a Photopass Photographer on the 2nd Floor where you can get a picture with Cinderella’s Glass Slipper.
  6. Allergies or Dietary Needs?: Disney is fantastic with accommodating dietary restrictions. When you book, mention any allergies or preferences, and notify your server upon arrival—they’ll ensure you have a safe and tasty breakfast.

Dining at 1900 Park Fare is more than just a meal—it’s a journey into Disney’s world of wishes and dreams, brought to life by favorite characters who remind us that magic is everywhere. From the food to the stories to the “wish makers” themselves, every moment of this breakfast is designed to create unforgettable memories. So, bring your appetite and your imagination, and prepare for a morning filled with magic at Disney’s Grand Floridian!
